What we collect

Your name and email when you join the waitlist, plus basic technical data (IP address, browser) to keep the form free of spam. Order details once our store opens.

What we don’t

Your GAP Check answers never leave your device. We never sell or rent your data, and we don’t build advertising profiles.

Your control

Ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, any time. One email to evolve@evohominus.com is enough.

How fast we respond

We acknowledge every privacy request within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days — never later than the 90 days the law allows.

1. Who we are

Evo Hominus™ is a nutrition brand operated by Hominus Syntropics Private Limited, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (“Evo Hominus™”, “we”, “us”). We run the website evohominus.com.

For the personal data described in this policy, we are the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — the organisation that decides why and how your data is used, and is responsible for protecting it. You are the Data Principal.

Questions about anything here: evolve@evohominus.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to everything you do on evohominus.com: reading our pages, joining the waitlist, taking the GAP Check, emailing us, and — once our store opens — buying our products. It is written to meet the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its Reasonable Security Practices Rules, 2011, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 with its Rules, 2025.

“Personal data” means any information about you that identifies you, on its own or combined with other information — your name, email address, phone number or delivery address, for example.

Links to other websites, such as Instagram or PubMed, are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies, not this one. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for how they handle your data.

3. How we collect it

  • From you, directly — when you join the waitlist, email us, message us on Instagram, or place an order.
  • Automatically — when your browser loads our pages, it sends technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the page you came from. This happens on every website.
  • From companies we work with — once the store opens, Razorpay tells us whether a payment succeeded, and delivery partners may send us updated delivery details so your order arrives.

You can always choose not to give us information. If you don’t, some things won’t work — we can’t add you to the waitlist without an email address, or deliver an order without an address.

4. What we collect and why

We only collect what we need for a stated purpose, and we ask for your consent where the law requires it. Joining the waitlist is your consent to receive launch emails from us.

Server and security logs
Automatically, on every visit
To run the website, detect abuse and investigate security incidents, as the law requires.

The legal basis for each use. We use your data either because you gave us consent (joining the waitlist, opting into offers), or for a legitimate use the law allows without separate consent: delivering an order you placed, meeting legal duties such as keeping tax records, and protecting the site against fraud and misuse.

We may also turn data into anonymous statistics — for example, “how many people joined the waitlist this week”. Anonymous statistics can’t identify you, so they are no longer personal data.

5. What we don’t collect

  • Your GAP Check answers stay on your device. The quiz calculates your results inside your own browser. Nothing you answer is sent to us or stored anywhere.
  • No health records. We never ask for medical reports, diagnoses or test results.
  • No selling or renting. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone, ever.
  • No advertising profiles. We don’t track you across other websites or build profiles to target ads at you.

6. Emails, SMS and WhatsApp

  • Launch and offer emails go only to people who joined the waitlist or opted in. Every one can be stopped with a single click or reply.
  • Order messages — once the store opens, we’ll send order confirmations, shipping updates and delivery messages by email, SMS or WhatsApp to the contact details you give at checkout. These are part of delivering your order.
  • Promotional SMS, WhatsApp messages or calls are sent only if you have separately agreed to receive them, and we respect India’s Do Not Disturb (DND) registry. We never treat an order as permission to send you marketing.

7. Cookies and third-party services

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Today, evohominus.com uses only the cookies it needs to work — for example, those WordPress uses to keep the site running securely. Once the store opens, the shop will also use essential cookies to remember your cart and keep you signed in during checkout.

To load quickly and look the way it does, the site uses a few trusted services. When your browser loads a page, these services receive your IP address and basic browser details, as any website you visit does:

  • Fonts: Fontshare and Google Fonts.
  • Animation code: cdnjs, a Cloudflare service.
  • Hosting: our web-hosting provider, which stores the website and its database in secure data centres.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the cart, from working properly.

If we add analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent before they run.

8. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with companies that help us run Evo Hominus™, only the data each one needs, and only under an obligation to protect it:

  • Hosting and email providers — to store the website and send you emails.
  • Razorpay — to process payments, once the store opens.
  • Delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, to deliver your order.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors and lawyers, where needed.
  • Authorities — only where the law requires it, such as a valid request from a court or government agency.

If Evo Hominus™ is ever merged with or acquired by another company, personal data may pass to the new owner, who must keep protecting it under this policy or tell you before anything changes.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside India. We only use providers that protect data to a standard we’d accept for our own, and never transfer data to any country the Government of India has restricted.

9. How long we keep it

  • Waitlist details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you haven’t engaged with us for 24 months, we delete them anyway.
  • Emails you send us: for as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
  • Order and invoice records: for as long as Indian tax, accounting and company law requires.
  • Security and access logs: for at least one year, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 require, then deleted.

When you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, we erase it, and ask our providers to do the same, unless a law requires us to keep a specific record for longer.

10. How we protect it

We follow reasonable security practices, as the law requires. The whole site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to personal data is limited to the founders and the specific providers listed above. Our forms include anti-spam protection and rate limits, and we keep security logs so we can spot and investigate misuse.

Once customer accounts are available, keep your password private and sign out on shared devices. We will never ask for your password, OTP or payment PIN by email, phone or message.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires, explain what happened, and tell you what we’re doing about it.

11. Your rights and choices

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

  • Access — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it.
  • Correct and update — fix anything that’s wrong or out of date.
  • Erase — ask us to delete your data.
  • Withdraw consent — stop us using your data for anything you agreed to, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing doesn’t affect anything we did lawfully before.
  • Grievance redressal — complain to us about how we’ve handled your data, and get a response.
  • Nominate — name someone who can exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.

How to use them: email evolve@evohominus.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm it’s really you before we act. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days — and in every case within the 90 days the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules allow.

Your everyday choices: to stop launch or offer emails, reply “unsubscribe” or use the link at the bottom of any email. To stop promotional SMS or WhatsApp messages, reply “STOP” or email us. Once accounts are available, you’ll also be able to update your details yourself.

If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

12. Children

Evo Hominus™ products and this website are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them promptly.

13. Reviews, social media and job applications

  • Reviews: once the store opens, product reviews you post are public, along with the name you choose to show. Ask us any time and we’ll remove your review, though copies other people or search engines have already saved may remain.
  • Social media: when you message or tag us on Instagram, we see what Instagram shows us, such as your username and profile picture, and use it only to reply. Instagram’s own privacy policy governs your account.
  • Job applications: if you send us your CV, we use it only to consider you for a role, keep it confidential, and delete it within 12 months unless you ask us to keep it longer.

14. Beware of fraud

Scammers sometimes impersonate brands with fake offers, fake “dealership” deals or requests for payment to personal bank accounts. Evo Hominus™ will never ask for your OTP, password, card PIN or UPI PIN, and will never ask you to pay into an individual’s account. Official emails come only from @evohominus.com. If you’re unsure whether an offer is genuine, email evolve@evohominus.com before you pay.

15. Grievance Officer

For any complaint or concern about your personal data, or about an order once the store opens, contact our Grievance Officer:

Abhishek
Co-founder and Director, Hominus Syntropics Private Limited

Email: evolve@evohominus.com
Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.

16. Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change — for example, when the store opens or if we add a new service. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we’ll tell waitlist members by email before it takes effect.
