Our Story & Purpose

Built for bodies that
deserve better.

Two hundred thousand years of human biology, dropped into depleted soil, processed food, and artificial light. Most supplements were not designed to bridge that gap — they were designed to a price point. We built EVO HOMINUS because we couldn’t find a multivitamin, or Element 5, we’d actually recommend to someone we care about.

Bottom Line

EVO HOMINUS is an Indian D2C nutraceutical brand making a methylated multivitamin and Element 5, both built entirely from active, bioavailable nutrient forms rather than the cheaper synthetic forms most supplements use.

India has a bioavailability gap.

Walk into any pharmacy in India and you’ll find multivitamins priced competitively and marketed aggressively. What you won’t find, printed clearly on those labels, is which form of each vitamin is inside. Folic acid is not methylfolate. Cyanocobalamin is not methylcobalamin. These aren’t minor variations — they are different compounds with meaningfully different absorption rates, particularly for people with MTHFR gene variants, and for the large share of Indians already running low on Vitamin B12. The Indian supplement market has largely ignored this distinction because bioactive forms cost more. We didn’t — and the same principle carried straight through when we built Element 5, using chelated forms instead of the cheap oxide salts most mineral supplements default to.

The Difference

Active forms. Not cheap forms.

The same vitamin can come in an active form your cells use immediately, or a synthetic form that requires conversion — a conversion many people cannot fully complete.

Typical Indian Multivitamin

Folic Acid — requires conversion
Cyanocobalamin — inactive form
Pyridoxine HCl — liver must convert
Thiamine HCl — water-soluble, low retention
Ascorbic Acid — acidic, stomach-harsh
Ergocalciferol D2 — less effective
Proprietary blends — hidden doses

EVO HOMINUS

Quatrefolic® Methylfolate — already active
Methylcobalamin (DSM) — active coenzyme form
P5P / Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (DSM) — active
Benfotiamine (BenfoPure®) — fat-soluble B1
Calcium Ascorbate (Quali-C®) — buffered, gentle
Vegan Cholecalciferol D3 (Vitashine®) — active
Exact mg / µg per nutrient — no rounding
Two Products, One Standard

The multivitamin and Element 5.

Same principle applied twice — active, bioavailable forms of every nutrient, never the cheapest raw material. Kept as two separate products deliberately, since minerals can compete with vitamins for absorption when crammed into a single capsule.

Product One

The Methylated Multivitamin

12 active vitamins — Methylcobalamin B12, Quatrefolic® methylfolate, P5P B6, Benfotiamine B1, vegan D3, MenaQ7® K2, buffered Quali-C® Vitamin C. Iron-free by design. 60 vegetarian capsules, 2 per day.

Product Two

Element 5

Four-source chelated magnesium, zinc bisglycinate balanced by copper at a 10:1 ratio, manganese, boron, and active P5P B6 — every mineral in a form your body can actually use. 2 capsules daily.

Who It’s For

A multivitamin for how people actually live.

The vitamins in EVO HOMINUS address nutrient gaps common across the Indian adult population — for men and women alike.

Working professionals

Long hours, back-to-back meetings, irregular meals. A demanding job creates B12, D3, and B-complex gaps that compound over months — a simple 2-capsules-a-day habit fits before or with breakfast, no planning required.

Vegetarians and vegans

Vitamin B12 is almost exclusively found in animal products. B12 deficiency is widespread and frequently underdiagnosed in India. Methylcobalamin addresses it directly.

People with MTHFR variants

A significant share of the population carries MTHFR gene variants that reduce folic acid conversion. Quatrefolic® methylfolate bypasses this step entirely — relevant regardless of gender.

Gym beginners and fitness enthusiasts

Active B-vitamins, Vitamin D, K2, C and E support energy metabolism whether you’re starting your first gym routine or training for years — this is a daily foundation, not a pre-workout.

Adults 30 and above

B12 absorption can become less efficient after 30, Vitamin D synthesis from sunlight declines, and bone health support becomes more relevant with age. Active forms in the multivitamin meet that shift directly — and Element 5’s magnesium, manganese, and boron round out the mineral side of the same picture.

Clean label, diet-conscious readers

Our labels show exact mg and µg values, not rounded figures. Every ingredient is named with its brand source. No proprietary blends. No hidden fillers. Exactly what’s there, stated precisely.

What We Stand For

Principles. Non-negotiable.

These are not marketing copy. They are the actual decisions we made when formulating EVO HOMINUS — decisions that cost more and deliver more.

Bioavailability first

Every nutrient is chosen for its active, body-ready form — not the cheapest raw material. If the body has to convert it before it works, we use the already-converted version.

Full transparency — clean label

Every ingredient is named exactly. Every dose is stated precisely — no rounding, no proprietary blend language. You should know exactly what you are putting into your body.

Premium branded ingredients

We source from DSM, Gnosis by Lesaffre, BASF, MenaQ7®, Vitashine®, Quali-C®, Aquamin®. The same ingredient houses that supply pharmaceutical-grade nutrition globally. Traceability and purity are non-negotiable.

No claims we cannot support

We do not use disease claims. We do not promise transformation. We make supplements that deliver nutrients in their most usable forms, at evidence-grounded doses, and let the science speak.

GMP-certified manufacturing

EVO HOMINUS products are manufactured in a GMP-certified facility and third-party tested for purity. Vegetarian capsules. No artificial fillers. What the label says is what is inside.

Formulated for India

Our formulations directly address the gaps most prevalent in India — B12 deficiency in vegetarian populations, widespread vitamin D deficiency, magnesium and MTHFR-related folate metabolism issues. Designed here, for here.

We don’t manufacture things that we can’t have ourselves.

The founding principle behind every EVO HOMINUS product
How We’re Built

Bootstrapped. No VC. No shortcuts.

EVO HOMINUS is self-funded. We have no venture capital investors, no board of directors pushing for faster launches or cheaper ingredients, no pressure to hit quarterly targets that would compromise the product. Every formulation decision is made on science and personal conviction, not investor timelines. This means we move at our own pace — but when we ship something, it’s exactly what we intended it to be.

Why We Publish

Our science is public — and links to the actual papers.

Our Nutrition Science Hub isn’t marketing content dressed up as education. It is education — with every claim linked to its source, every PMID hyperlinked so you can read the original paper yourself, every limitation stated plainly. We publish guides on magnesium deficiency, zinc deficiency, copper depletion from zinc supplements, and mineral form comparisons — not because they sell products (though they do), but because an informed customer is the only kind of customer we want.

We include “Check Your Own Label” sections on our science pages — teaching you how to evaluate any supplement, including ours. If you read one of our guides and decide a competitor’s product is better for your needs, we’ve still done our job.

Common Questions

About EVO HOMINUS, answered plainly.

Not yet. EVO HOMINUS is pre-launch. Both the methylated multivitamin and Element 5 have finalized formulations — join the waitlist to be notified the moment they launch, plus a one-time discount code.

In a GMP-certified facility in India, using branded, traceable raw materials sourced from established international ingredient suppliers.

Most Indian multivitamins use the cheapest available form of each nutrient — folic acid, cyanocobalamin, pyridoxine HCl — which require your body to convert them before use. EVO HOMINUS uses the already-active form of every nutrient instead, each named exactly on the label with its precise dose.

Yes. Both products use vegetarian capsule shells, and every active ingredient — including the vegan D3 and marine-sourced magnesium — is free of animal-derived material.

Iron needs vary too widely between individuals to be safely assumed into a one-size-fits-all multivitamin. We leave it out deliberately, so anyone who needs it can supplement it separately based on an actual blood test.

Element 5 is our mineral formula — four-source chelated magnesium, zinc balanced by copper, manganese, boron and active B6 — kept as a separate product because minerals can compete with vitamins for absorption when combined into one capsule.

No. EVO HOMINUS is a nutritional supplement, not a medicine, and does not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. All product information uses structure and function language.

Formulations are built around branded, clinically referenced ingredient forms from established global suppliers — DSM, Gnosis by Lesaffre, BASF, Aquamin — chosen for their bioavailability data, not cost alone.

Yes. EVO HOMINUS products are formulated and manufactured to be compliant with FSSAI’s regulatory framework for health supplements and nutraceuticals in India.
